The Marshall Tucker Band’s founding member Doug Gray stopped by Capricorn on Nov. 3, along with band member Marcus Henderson and Red Light Management’s Darren Hagen, to hear about plans for Mercer Music at Capricorn from Mercer Senior Vice President Larry Brumley and Moonhanger Group President/Owner Wes Griffith. The band recorded many of its biggest hits, including “Heard It in a Love Song,” “Fire on the Mountain” and “Can’t You See,” at Capricorn in the 1970s.
