In February 2020, Blackberry Smoke recorded its Live from Capricorn Studios album in Historic Studio A. The record features the band performing songs from the Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker Band and Wet Willie, as well as two originals. Wet Willie’s Jimmy Hall returned to the studio to record lead vocals on “Keep on Smilin’” and “Grits Ain’t Groceries.” Marcus Henderson of the Marshall Tucker Band played flute on “Take the Highway,” and The Black Bettys contributed backing vocals to several tracks.
