Special Event Spaces

Phil Walden Memorial Studio

The expansive Phil Walden Memorial Studio (Studio B) and adjacent reception area/gift shop offer a dynamic, one-of-a-kind setting for corporate gatherings, board meetings, retreats, receptions and milestone celebrations.

A Stage Worthy of Your Story

At 1,400 square feet, Studio B is designed to impress. The space features:

  • A flexible, movable stage
  • Concert-grade sound and lighting
  • Large-screen projection system for presentations and multimedia
  • Adjacent reception area/gift shop area for receptions and networking
  • Seating: Concert/performance style with stage and seating for up to 70 guests
  • Seating: Classroom style configured with rectangular conference tables for up to 40 guests
  • Seating: Dinner style configured with seven round tables for eight guests per table, maximum 54 guests
  • Standing room only - reception style up to 100 guests
  • Additional meeting/conferences rooms available for rent as break-out spaces

Whether you’re hosting a strategic planning session, product launch, executive retreat, or private celebration, Studio B blends professional functionality with the unmistakable energy of a legendary music venue.

Studio B + Lounge/Bar Access

  • Weekday (Monday–Thursday): $1,500
  • Weekend (Friday–Sunday): $2,000

For planners and hosts who want to offer something truly unforgettable, elevate your event with exclusive access to the Capricorn Museum and a guided tour of Historic Studio A—creating a behind-the-scenes experience your guests will be talking about long after the event ends.

  • Weekend (Friday–Sunday): $2,500

Meeting Rooms

At Mercer Music at Capricorn, even your most focused meetings take place in an inspiring setting. Our two fully equipped conference rooms are ideal for board meetings, leadership retreats, planning sessions, workshops and creative ideation gatherings.

Each room is designed for both productivity and flexibility, featuring:

  • 90” presentation screens
  • Wireless high-speed internet
  • Integrated stereo speakers for seamless audio
  • Whiteboards for collaboration and strategy
  • Easily reconfigurable tables and seating

With space to accommodate up to 25 guests per room, the layout can be tailored to suit your agenda—whether you prefer a boardroom setup, classroom configuration or collaborative workshop style.

Rates for the conference rooms are $100 for the first hour and $50 for each additional hour.
